Hi. I'm having problems with RcxCC. I hope you can help me. I've just installed RcxCC v. 3.2. I use Win2000 and RIS 1.5. When I compile a simple program, I get following error message: " Win32 Error. (...) If it could take an NQC program and convert it, ready to go, into LegOS. That would be very cool. Many of us just don't understand C very well and to be able to just tweak our progs for the better power and speed would be very welcome. But (...) I have been thinking about how to convert NQC program to legOS program when I found standard firmware only supports 8 levels output, but legOS can support 255 levels. I wanted to write the converting software by myself, but I don't have enough time (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

It looks like the serial port just isn't getting the right settings (baud, parity, etc). I'm not sure how to go about diagnosing/fixing it...NQC makes some rather straightforward POSIX calls to configure the serial port. If it is not working, then (...) Hallo Dave! Thanks for your respond. I've done your suggestion. I connected two linux computers with a nullmodem cable. On the other computer nqc is working correctly, but it has installed an older version of nqc 2.0.2 (on my notebook runs nqc 2.2., (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
