Sending this to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos@lugnet.com. I'm not the sole

Hi, I hope I am not disturbing you and that you can help me out. I
recently downloaded and installed Cygwin and BrickOS. Upon finishing
installing everything, I  typed:

Define "everything".

No hitachi gcc compiler found, please install compiler and try again.

So well, what do I next? Am I missing some kind of a compiler in the
original Cygwin installation?

Did you build a cross-compiler? Unsurprisingly, Cygwin doesn't come with a
compiler targeted for a lego brick.

Max.

To the group, please. I will quietly delete any responses not copied to the group. (...) Is there h8300-hitachi-hms-gcc.exe in /usr/local/bin ? Max. (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
