Compiling your own compiler is undoubtably the hardest barrier of entry to
brickos.
I suggest that the h8300 binutils and gcc be distributed as Cygwin packages
from the brickos website. This would simplify the install to merely running
Cygwin setup, and entering a custom mirror site, and selecting a notional
'brickos' package (which would, by dependencies, pull in brickos-binutils
and brickos-gcc).
I'm willing to lend a hand with the packaging.
What sort of limit does SourceForge have on projects http space?
