thanx to mark falco and albert huang for helping me out with lnp_init.
But now i have another problem.
if i execute lnp_addressing_write at approximately the same time as i
recieve data on the serial port, lnp_addressing_write does not
return.. the program just hangs on this line...it doesnt return even
after i have recieved the data.(waited for several seconds)
according to the documentation i have on lnp_addressing_write, it will
return zero on success and nonzero if it fails. and will block until the
transmittion is complete...
so from this i can assume that the message never gets sent at all ?...
sigh..but why doesnt it ever return ??..hmmmmmmmm
i send and recieve on different ports and send and recieve are also
different threads (pthreads again :)
initially one should think that one should be able to recieve and send
at the same time (though what actually gets to the other side is
unknown),but for some reason
(which i cannot see), lnp_addressing_write just hangs:(
oh well...
anyone have any ideas, please lemme know :)
regards
