AFAIK it is not possible yet. ISTR that the legocam is closely related to the
Logitech QuickCam express and the project to develop drivers for the latter
(look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/qce-ga/ ) will eventually provide the
ability to use the legocam. Unfortunately the project is still at Alpha level,
and you need at least kernel 2.4 to get it to work properly (although I have
heard that the USB backport works sometimes)..
Even though I have 2.4.3, I still can't get my Quickcam express to work in
Linux with it, so they still have a way to go.

| Hi, There are two versions of the Logitech QuickCam Express which use two different sensors and as far as I know, only one of them is supported by the alpha driver for Linux. I think that the Lego Cam (and your camera, maybe)uses the other sensor... (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
