That sounds wrong. I believe 2.0 was *supposed* to be due out Nov 2000
but was delayed *slightly* due to software problems, because FLL teams were
supposed to get the Beta of the software (no, not just the firmware) but we
did not due to some problems discovered late.
So, I would believe a Q1 2001, but I find Q4 2001 unrealistic, especially
given
the stock recall notices others have posted about. There is *no way* LEGO
would go 11-12 months without a mindstorms kit available, it's way too big
a money maker for them (not just the sets, but the number of AFOLs brought
out of the dark ages and spending 100's of dollars on additional sets like
the
bar code truck, etc.)
