Thanks - I got a replacement already. Just wondered if anyone had figured out
if it is possible to make any use of (or fix) an RCX with this fault.

Tell them it's not working and they will send you a new one. IF they make you send the dead one back (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
