Hi!

I am currently working on a Java API for the RCX to implement the features of
the PBrick (SPIRIT.OCX) interface in Java.
So far, using the Java Comm API 2.0 and Kekoa Proudfoot's description, it does
everything right except for one thing: performance.
Trying to get the values of all 32 variables through successive call takes
about 30 secs (compare to about 3 secs for RcxCC).
Since the Java code is not algorithmically complex it must be way it
communicates with the RCX.

Does anyone know about this problem? Perhaps sending more than one instruction
at a time could bring down the time. Does anyone know if it is possible to send
more than one instruction at a time?

Regards,
Søren Bak (soren.bak@get2net.dk)
