I think I dropped it once with loss of its memory, but my
memory is faint, wasn't that important. That's because I
occasionally drop my Palm III, which is probably in the same
league, with the highest drop at about a meter. It never
had any damage, and it didn't even lose memory. Palm has an
internal spec somewhere that says that it should survive
three feet drops on a concrete floor, twice on each corner
and side.
So I'd say that breaking is the exception at these heights.
From the second floor of a stone staircase, that's another story,
fortunately not mine.
