Hi,

yes, I use one old VCR motor and 2 playing/recording heads.
I' ve tested (see the small drawing on my site) with rotation sensor.
It acts like gyros in helicopter or segway(but mine is "physic" and not
"electronic"): it informs about angle between robot structure and "horizon".
yes I ' ve tried to mount it on a robot but I' ve made few mistakes:
-Gyro generates lot of vibration.
-the rotation sensor is less sensitive to inform on small angle change. Angle
(structure/horizon) has to be multiplicated before acting on rotation sensor.
May be one day I will work again on it.
I've tested the gyro-propulsion too (with non LEGO parts):
using 2 gyros that are connected in front one of another on the same axle.
Very intersting experience but very dangerous too !
I have no strong enough structure to test it seriously.

| (...) You've got some very cool stuff on your site. I like your robotic dog! And your ball shooter is similar to an idea I had wanted to try using LEGO soccer balls, but ping-pong balls are much safer! (I can picture myself digging soccer balls out (...)
