  problem with the RCX
 
One of my students accidently left a tied up gear train running for a while, i.e. In the midst of running a RCX, the case not only gets very hot, but also has a very strong plastic burning smell. (...) Whoops, I missed that there was a third option. I concur with this, as it's both the right voltage and confirmed AC. The mA rating, BTW, is a capacity rating, so it will work for anything that draws 800mA or less. The NXT adapter is rated for (...) (19 years ago, 11-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Usually AC will either say AC or have a ~ symbol. DC will either say DC or have a symbol that looks like = or _-_ -Rob A> (...) (19 years ago, 10-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
