The problem with programming the built-in IR in the Palm is that one needs to access and control the hardware directly. You can't use the normal programming interfaces for controlling the IR. It looks like the problem was the files were corrupted on download. When I send the files via email they have worked fine. I've put them in .ZIP files this time. So, try it again! Mike, I'm very sorry to report that both BrickRemote and LRemote gave fatal exception errors on install that required a hard reset. My PalmIIIx: OS3.3, no expansion card, no modem, no hacks, no third party software installed when tested. Robert (...) (26 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Howdy, Anybody home? The latest version of BrickRemote is 0.6. I believe the bug which caused it to crash upon installing has been fixed. Please let me know if this isn't true.
