Yesterday, I acquired and am sharing John's book "NXT Power Programming". I
tried to read as much of it last night. Great book!
Anyway, I'm at PSU conducting a Lego NXT class with 7 boys. Several of the kids
are very interested in the Remote Control found in Chapter 16. The kids are
wondering if the building instructions can be viewed electronically (i.e.
larger, and in living color)?
If so, does the publisher have a site we can go to?
We can't just load software on the university's systems. So, I brought our
mobile lab (laptops) to run NXC/NBC. I'm hoping to entice any of these boys to
try coding. Of course, I've tried Robolab vs NQC before. I learned that most
kids stick with iconographic Robolab. As of today, I had no takers for using
the laptops and NXC, they're sticking with NXT-G. Although, one of the parents
said he'd be buying John's book.

| (...) I don't know if the instructions are on-line (publishers don't always like that), but you might want to have them build something similar of their own, just to help in designing something. Remote controls tend to be pretty simple (although (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jan-08, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
