Im not sure if Radio Shack is in the U.K. or not (I doubt it) but
they sell ultrasonic tape measures for about $29. Possibly you could
order a catalog from them. Alternately there were several suggestions
for building your own in the group this morning. If you joined the
mailing list just after these suggestions let me know and I will
forward them to you.
