| I am trying to get my Handyboard to work off of the 9.6V battery without the DC adapter connected. With the DC adapter hooked directly to the cpu board and the battery connected everything works fine. Without the cable just using the 9.6V battery I (...) | Brian, First I would check the voltage of the battery itself. You should get about 10 volts. If not you either have a bad battery or a problem with your charger.
