Miniboard downloader that works in W95?

I know the Miniboard is kind of passe', but I have one and I think its a
pretty cool item. I have the freebe ICC11 and Miniboard libs already and
everything works great. But, I have to run everything in DOS, which is a
pain. I've tried three downloaders, including the Handyboard downloader,
and none of them work in W95 with the Miniboard. dl11 and its knockoffs
all hang, the Handyboard downloader comes up with a variety of errors, and
never works.
Is there a solution to my problem? PCBUG11 works fine in W95, but PCBUG11
won't work with the oddball serial fudge on the Miniboard. Is my only
choice going to be hacking a MAX233 onto the Miniboard and using PCBUG11?
I hope not...
