The second port needs to be enabled in BIOS and you must have enough free
IRQ's to accomodate it.

I went to Control Panel System, device manager Ports[COM&LPT] Communications Port[COM1] Only one com. port is listed here but I have another serial port physically next to (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
