| | | (...) It sounds like you have a bad solder joint. I would take a multimeter set on the conductivity mode and test pins 2 and 3 of the female serial connector on the interface/charger board. Pin 2 of the serial connector connects to pin 8 of the (...) (28 years ago, 22-Jul-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
