Anyone know what the most efficient way to connect a stepper motor to the • HB?

I know that they have these $8ish driver chips...

Allegro Systems UCN5804B is $3 and change from Newark Electronics. That's
not so many $s. It can drive steppers up to 1.25A. The interfacing is easy,
datasheet available on-line. Hope this helps, Art
