It is a 6811 internal register, at addresses $100e (high byte) to
$100f (low byte).
You should get the Motorola 6811 docs if you are going to be working
with this register.
Motorola Semiconductor Inc.
Motorola Literature Distribution o P.O. Box 20912
Phoenix, AZ 85036
Motorola has excellent technical documentation and support that is
free upon request. They often give away free samples of chips as well.
If you are a student working from a university, the University Support
office (602 952 3855) will handle customer support. You can mail or
fax parts requests to the following address: Motorola Semiconductor
Parts Sector; University Support 56-106; P.O. Box 52073; Phoenix, AZ
85072 (fax number: 602 952 3621). You must enclose a photocopy of
your student ID card as proof of university status with the request.
For other tech support, call Motorola's "Customer Responsiveness Cen-
ter" at (512) 891-2628 to find out the Motorola sales office nearest to
your location. For technical documentation requests, call (800) 521-
6274. Finally, you may reach a Motorola engineer familiar with the
MC6811 series by calling the Advanced Applications Group at (512)
891-6517.
Motorola. Literature reference M68HC11RM/AD, "M68HC11 Reference
Manual." This document is the "bible" of the 6811 and is a must-have for
any serious 6811 programmer.

(0) Look at
http://el.www.media.mit.edu/groups/el/projects/handy-board/hblabel.htm
(1) Read the IC manual for the Handy Board, available from the web
site.
(2) Look at the HB schematics, available from the web site.
(3) 0 to 6 is analog in; 7 to 15 is digital in; 7 & 8 are timer in
lines; 9 is actually a bi-directional timer line.

| Hi everybody, I am windering if the system timer register TCNT is one of the IC global variable or we should declare it, and if so whats the address of this register. My second question is about the HB pins 0 to 15, can anyone tell me where I can (...) (29 years ago, 16-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
