I just joined the list, and saw in the list archives the recent question
about a replacement for the ZTX614 Darlington.  On my Handy Board which
just arrived from Patrick Hui, the supplier in Hong Kong, a few part
substitutions had to be made, which Patrick says are "compatible or even
better parts".  For the ZTX614 NPN Darlington, Patrick substituted the
MP5A13 NPN Darlington.  I haven't yet tried this part of the circuit, so
I don't know how well it works, but it might be worth a try.
