Hi,
Penn State Abington College (Abington, PA; Phila area) will be hosting the 3rd
annual "Robo-Hoops" autonomous robot contest on Sunday, Dec 7, 1997 (1-3pm).
Robots must pick-up and dunk or shoot Nerf balls (4" diam) into a net
positioned 12" above playing surface. Robots are generally of the LEGO
variety controlled by HandyBoards and 6270 boards. Freshmen and sophomore
engineering students and several local Philadelphia high schools will compete
(about 8 teams total). The public is welcome. More information can be found
