Hey Cris-
If you're willing to sacrifice 4 analog ports you can buy Jameco's part
number 116960 which is a MC68HC11A1P controller chip in a 48-pin DIP
package. They used to sell for $16.95 but have just recently dropped to
$13.95 in their last catalog. If you need to have the analog ports and/or
need the PLCC package and can deal with the E1 version of the chip- (which
might turn out to be E9's- dealer's choice) JDR sells them for $16.95
(part number 68HC11E1FN). If you absolutely need the E2 version, I don't
know what to tell you except good luck. I'm sure they exist because I've
got several boards around here with them on it- but I haven't the foggiest
idea where to get them. If you need the contact information for either of
the above companies- check my page http://www.vnet.net/wizorg and its in
the parts sources document.
Hope that helps-

Add a bit to get them to me, a bit to ship them to you, and $25 doesn't leave much profit for a (...) (27 years ago, 26-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
