Remove the BINH and check the sonar readings...the minimum distance it
can read will be about 16-17" (this is with an internal blanking OF
2.38millisec) this time can be modified by adding a resistor to the
BINH.

Also the ECHO goes into the signal pin of digital(7), u can power the
sonar using the +V and GND pins of dogital(7).

I finally got the code loaded into my handyboard to test the unit but I am
having some problems.  When the program runs I hear ticking from the
transducer but the reading on the LCD stays at 0" no matter where it
points.  I want to make sure that I have the wiring correct so if someone
can confirm the following I would appreciate it.

Echo = right most pin of digital inputs
Init = I removed the second motor driver chip and put the wire in pin 9 of
the IC socket
Binh = Pin 1 of the second motor driver chip IC socket

I also have a question about the hookup of the ribbon cable that came with
the sonar board.  With the board facing you, the ribbon cable is inserted
so that the wire marked as pin one is on the left.  Is this correct?  Am I
also correct about the pin numbering below on the connector?

   1 3 5 7 9
    2 4 6 8

Thanks for all your help.
