Hi Joe,

     I am glad that you get it going.

     For casting, you can cast variables as well. Again, it is best to
     avoid any type casting if you can. I would not encurage any one
     to do much of casting if not necessary.  Some programing
     language makes this casting almost impossible such as
     Ada.

     Keep practice working on writing code and reading others' then
     you will be good at writing code as well.

Pandit,
Thanks a lot for your help.I had already thought that it could be the board
running out of resources that caused the problem but I am not very
experienced with programing.I  agree with your improvements on the program
and will implement them in my future variations.Thank you very much.One
more question,does casting work with variables or can I only cast using
constants?
