    as has been discussed on this list, the Handy Board wasn't really designed for three volt toy motors. Reducing the voltage and doubling the motor chips is a reasonable approach, however.    I think I might have wrote something wrong before. I said that you can use an external battery of 3V. I take it back. Sorry... I didn't realise that it would only work for 6 volts to 36 volts.
