Hello folks,
I have a group of students involved in an application
where a PC needs to send commands to a handy board at certain
instants and receive feedback from the handy board.
The handy board is involved in motor control according to
the commands from the PC. Does Interactive C include any commands to
read from and write to the serial port, or is it easier to
write a piece of Assembly code to accomplish this real time
communication, or is there an easier way that we are ignoring here.
Any suggestion or info will be appreciated.
Rachid

| yes, it is possible for an ic program to use the serial port. see randy's instructions at (URL) this question was answered and archived in Handy Board e-mail archive. It would be good if people try a quick search through there before posting to the (...) (29 years ago, 7-Mar-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
