Hi,
I know this is an old chestnut but believe me I have searched the mail
archive and nothing quite matches what I'm seeing.
I have a handyboard which I made and which seems to work perfectly.
However, I have to download (using hbdl) with the config set to 0D.
If I do this, everything works and the board operates.
However, I want to follow instructions so I set the config to 0C.
When I do this, hbdl complains something like "config register set to
wrong value (0D)" during the second phase of downloading.
I have tried using the config0c.s19 file; I have tried the "burn the
board" button and the download button several times, with board resets
inbetween etc. Again, this file only loads when I set config to 0D in
hbdl. I have tried all the combinations of downloading, resetting,
changing config etc that I can think of!
I also tried the Beta of Newton's IC 3.1 which I believe does the
downloading and config detection itself; it worked fine.
Presumably, the board may seem to be working because I am only
downloading small programs which haven't hit the EEPROM address space
yet, and when they do it will all turn nasty.
Can anyone help?
Richard
