PS  We (my associates and I) have put some assembly code for using the
miniboard as a slave to the handy board on the user contributed code
page.  I don't have that address with me either but LMKIYWI.

I checked out the web page, not all the software is loaded up yet...
Looks just like what I was about to ask for, I've gotta hook a 6811 to a
Vector 2X via SPI as well.

Last I reported on my project, I had fried the Handyboard.  The problem
was not obvious to me.  Not being electronically gifted, I resorted to
buying one of Ray Butts' Tcomp computers (about $65, based on the
68HC11E1), gluing it onto the Handyboard, and getting regulated power from
the Handyboard's circuits.  I added another RJ11 receptacle and wired it
to the Tcomp, and I'm back up and running, sans Interactive C :-(, but the
Tcomp came with SBasic, pretty powerful while still compiling into fast
code.  Converting from C to SBasic wasn't too bad.

The best thing, of course, is since it's the E variant, now I finally get
4 IC lines and 4 OC lines to acquire, process, and output all four signals
(pan/tilt/steer/power).
