Not a real systematic one -- that seemed to be enough to let motors
blast away, but stop real damage from happening if the nicad pack got
shorted out.

remember, shorting nicads is a real hazard - 50 to 100 amps -- could
almost start a car.

I looked up the part in DigiKey Catalog.
Is there a reason for choosing a fuse rated at 2.5A with a trip of 5.0A?
