Hello Handyboarders, I hve a few questions regarding IR demodulation. Fred's book shows both the GP1US2 and the IS1U60 IR demodulators but only shows how to hook up the GP1US2.   Comparison of C compliers
 
If you were starting C development on the handyboard today what compiler would you go for ? There seems to be a least 2 free IC and GNU-GCC and 2 commercial ICC and netwon labs ?   My HB wont get the bootstrap mode
 
I´m a new user on the HB, and whne I rey to get the bootstrap mode just I can't it suppose the 2 leds (red and green) should be on and rapidly turn off, but th green led stays on all the time... What is wrong?? Is the HB damage? (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

This will probably bounce to the Handyboard list but here goes ... (...) The way the default LCD program is written is non-optimal. This is because the LCD is a fairly slow device relative to the 68HC11. The default LCD code spin locks on the (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
