Does anyone know where to buy the electronics that are used to make security system IR/motion detectors? The complete wireless modules cost about $50, I was wondering if they could be bought without the transmitter and if these would be easy to (...) I am trying to get the handyboard to communicate with a standard COM port. I have Randy Sargent's code of how to communicate serially, however, a terminal program cannot find the handyboard (I get a "Cannot open COM Port" error). I think that there (...) Along similar lines, I've been searching for a web site I saw once. It features a basic stamp or PIC controlled LCD terminal, to be directly connected to a serial line. I was hoping to possibly scavenge some code off of the site, but I can't find (...) (28 years ago, 6-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
