My problem is in running downloader. I am supplying power directly to the board but all that it displays is top row of black boxes which are kind of faded. Then I run the downloader program and it says it worked but the welcome message doesn't come (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hey, Handy Board people! I don't know if anybody has noticed, but this group is dead, dead, dead! It's time to get things going. Maybe people have some neat projects going on to tell us about.
