Actually, I live in Wisconsin, and I heard about the "Rockets for School" but no one in my high school knows anything about it. I saw it on the news. . .   Sonar and the handyboard
 
I need to attach an underwater sonar ranger to the handyboard but I cannot figure out how. Does anyone have any experience with this? One question that I have is if sonar transducers other than the polaroid 7000 unit can be attached to Polaroids (...) (25 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Maxim sells a chip that I have connected to the parallel port on my PC and it seems to work well. I got the design from an article in Dr. Dobbs. The article was on using Linux to collect data. Is that how it works? I remeber a time when some students were using a joystick for a project and recall them dealing with some sort of PWM.
