It won't necessarily fry the chip. L293s (and the TI equivalent) have a thermal protection mode. If the chip gets too hot, it will turn itself off. Help!! I don't know how to fix compiler errors! Specifically, I received the following error: "Compiler error! 47 extra bytes left on board stack. " and I don't know how to fix it.
