Russell, Just a suggestion from experience. Before you invest a lot of time developing hardware to expand the capability of the Handy Board, I suggest you write the program. Has anyone ever created a generic expansion board for the HandyBoard? What I mean by generic, is a board with say a .10 grid hole pattern and some power and ground traces . I have some questions about the handyboard memory: 1) Does it matter if i use a 70ns Eprom instead of the 100ns one? 2) Can you use EEproms or FlashRoms instead of the Eprom ? 3) Can i use more memory than the 256 KB ? Russ, This would not suffice. The PCODE would need to be changed as well. The end result of the motor interface routines in C in LIB_HB.C is that RAM locations 0x0E, and 0x22-0x25 have the direction and speed pattern info for each of the four (...) I'm also very interested in using UCOS in HB. IC is very slow and have very stupid multitasking. Until now I find only basic HB library for ICC11 ((URL) library is at ftp://ftp.imagecraft.../libhb.zip It may by usable with UCOS. ===...=== Andrew (...) I'm building a theory about how to make a 360 range finding system. It only needs to be accurate out to, say, a foot or 18 inches. basically it's a "before you bump" bump system.
