  Serial Communication Clarifications for Newbies, Please...
 
Howdy, I've been playing with my HB for about a month now, and after reading all the documentation again, I was able to solve the newbie questions that I have posted few weeks ago... But now, I'm stuck with serioal I/O :) Could someone help me (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi! Some time ago i asked this question now i try again, maybe anybody can help me! I dowloaded the environment for the pc(dos) to assemble a s19-pcode file for the hb. Now i tried a little bit but it does now work, What you can download under pcode (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

We are not able to get the Dallas Semiconductor 1233 power on reset chip in India here. Can I use a regular power on reset circuit or can i find any particlular replacement for the chip. Please reply soon thank you -Milind (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

not really. you can issue serial line characters to the desktop PC from the HB (see the FAQ), but IC cannot display them. so, for interactive development, it won't work. but if you can quit IC and run a terminal emulator program on your PC (e.g., (...)
