Hi. I'm trying to connect a Sharp GP1U58Y 38KHz IR detector to one of the analog inputs. The problem is that the device outputs a voltage and doesn't seem to be pull down transistor device so the internal 47K pullup seems to be messing it up. Any (...) Greetings everyone! When it comes to programming in IC, sometimes I think I'm starting to learn something and other times I feel like a complete idiot. I think it's mostly syntax thats killing me. The current still goes through the chip. 1 amp max. But now it will get more hot cuz you disipate more power accross the integrated transistors with the higher voltage.
