(...) Most Connor disk drives have a 68HC11A1FN on them. If you find someone throwing one away, it is a cheap HC11. (...) Digi-key sells these. (...) Ben Wirz sells these. Also look for the TI replacement possibly. (28 years ago, 19-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi, Does anyone have recent model #'s, part #'s, or suppliers for Hall Effect magnetic sensors that interface directly with the Handy Board. There is a picture of a Hall sensor on page 52 of the Handy Board Technical Reference, but no part number or (...) (28 years ago, 19-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) I just looked back to the IR transmitter schematic... The 1K res + RED LED you see there is for the only purpose of having a visible feedback of IR transmission. The IR Led and it's limiting resistor (if the case) will be connected in series (...) (28 years ago, 19-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
