You should be able to "piggy back" two motor driver chips. The normal ones for the HB are capable of about 1Amp or .6Amp. Use another 1Amp chip and you should be able to source 1.5Amps. I finally have my HB completed and yesterday I located the Mobile Robotics book at the University of Arkansas bookstore. Howdy, I'm looking for a supplier of the 6811 that does not have a minimum order requirement. I was talking to Motorola direct and they had a minimum of 23 pices on theMC 68HC11A1FN. I need to drive two motors from the handy board and I need a little help building a driver circuit. The motors are 12v ~1.5A motors that are to be run in both directions.
