(...) Not as a teacher, but as a student, I would say that the LEGO is a far better 'deal' for the students than the robotic arm. I have an opportunity to purchase some additional sets for my classroon. Currently I have one RIS with some additional sensors, motors, pneumatics, and an extra RCX. Please offer some advice on purchasing 4 complete RIS sets as compared to a ROBOLAB (...) (26 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.edu)

(URL) are RCX and non-RCX LEGO curriculum ideas here, as well as "mixed-media" stuff between woodworking and LEGO, and also just straight woodworking (...) My non-robotics Technic session runs 2 hours and it's not long enough: I have them fighting to get in the door early and trying to pry them off the Lego and clear up at the end is... difficult.
