Hello again,

It is a dutch version of cybermaster software. And it needs to be run on
windows 98 or something like that. It doesn't like windows XP or windows 7

Greetings,

You are right, but there are people (like me) who read it.

I do not have the remote control (RF tower), as I found in the papers and
invetory. I dont have time, but I am thinking of taking the elektronics out
and building my own. For my need that might be easier.
But the RF tower is available from BL for 5 USD near me. The wire I can make

Good, then you are set (don't forget the antennas).

Then I only need the CD, which is available from BL too, but not in English
(or any other language for me Danish or Estonian)
Are this avaible as download somewhere?

It was available in Dutch from an FTP that has since disappeared, but honestly,
unless you want the building instructions don't bother!

What is BricxCC?

<http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/ BrickxCC>  is a programming interface for a
number of languages including<http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/nqc/ NQC>  which
allows you to program the Cybermaster much more effectively for your needs than
the what can be done with the CD.

What options do I have in the software? Are the wheel drive the same for both
or can I control the 2 wheels independently?
I want to have a button to start some action, and then let it run for say 30
secs, maybe a swicth for counting checking. Very basic and simple stuff

All of what you describe can be easily done with NQC through Bricxcc. There is a
great tutorial in the Docs section of the NQC website. You can see a simple
example in<http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=234170 my BS folder>

(...) XP doesn't like the Cybermaster CD because o a compatibility issue with QuickTime. You can still get access to the building instructions though. Just make sure you change folder properties so it'll show hidden files and folders. Jetro (14 years ago, 13-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)
