Ok, found something very interesting ! (URL) FindMovingBlob seems perfect for controlling a Video Camera with a PC controlled pBrick. Look it in: (URL) going to try to test/investigate Pong Suvan's software :) Oh, and Microsoft Vision SDK is on: (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I am a proponent for HALCON from mvtec.com. Although I have to admit that I am biased, as I have used HALCON during my thesis, its a very powerful environment. The number of available operators ranges from simple low-level image processing to (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi Reimer, I've seen HALCON listed in (URL) checking Pong Suvan's software/dll's, I was going to check a couple more site's, HALCON's included :) Just downloaded ((URL) and tested the apps done by Pong Suvan to test/use/demonstrate his DLL's. After checking Pong Suvan's apps/lib ((URL) checked HALCON 5.2 ((URL) as was my intention. HALCON looks like a very powerfull, well documented, well done and easy to use (through HDeveloper and/or the COM version) software package. Now, correct me (...) Marco: You are correct that Halcon is a commercial offering. I understand that it is very highly regarded. One of the Premier offerings in the arena of Machine Vision is NIH Image, which is(or was) in the public domain. You can find it at: (URL) (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
