sometime in the last 4 months, someone posted a note about having scanned
in the Pitsco lego pages and made them available on the net. I am not
talking about hughe's registry, rather the one that's a straight scan from
the back of the catalog. Anyone still have the pointer..? If so, please
post me a note. Thanks
Speaking of parts...
a while back I asked for info on the backbone piece for the tri-star wheel.
thanks for the many replies. I found that the Hydro Racer 8246 has 1 red
tri arm, with studs but no holes and I picked up 4 (US$3.99) to make up at
least 2 tri-stars to play with. The odd silver lining in the kit was a 2
stud beam, which unlike the regular 2 stud beam with only one hole in the
center, this beam has 2 under each stud, I've not found it pictured in
Pitsco, only in the registry. Someone out there might just NEED that piece
and I thought I'd share my findings.
I have given up ( for now ) on LegOS... After battling my way through the
resistance, I end up finding out that the kernal, version and chosen
platform does not correctly support two way comm through the serial port (
don't ask ! ) So.. until I am back running with a 'real' linux, I am off of
LegOS.

| (...) That was probably James Mathis's scanning of the spare parts section of the 1998 Pitsco-LEGO Dacta catalog: (URL) the new catalog for 2000 is out. You can order a free catalog on-line from ((URL) if you'd like to see the whole thing. Just (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
