I just received the latest driver from the tech support, which turned out to
be the same driver as the one on the web site. I uninstalled the old driver
including a manual registry clean, and reinstalled the new driver
configuring it for COM1 including DOS Box emulation. Short snippets work,
but things like firmware downloads retry and time out after the counter on
the RCX reaches 20.
This is the case both with Mindstorms SW 1.5 and NQC.
Perhaps my unit is an older one, it was bought in Nov. of last year?
Does anybody have any other suggestions?
