I used a similar set up and attached the camera sender to a Scout with the
Scout running one of its built in programs. For power I went to Radio Shack
and bought a 8 battery holder (#270-3878 with #270-325 9V snap connectors)
and an adapter (#274-1533) that matched the power jack on the video sender.
I'm using the X10 camera with sound. For folks using this one--it has a very
long cable so I cut it and added a new phone jack connector to it. Make sure
to use a 6 wire phone jack (most are only 4). You can get this at Radio
Shack too.
I haven't done anything too interesting with it yet. We were watching the
video feed on the TV when we saw a huge close up of the dog's nose checking
out the Scout. Shortly after that we had permanent video of the ceiling.
:-)
