Most definitely work an air tank if you plan to operate pneumatics more
than infrequently.   The air tank gives you a cushion to work with while
the compressor can represurize the tank.

I don't know much about pneumatics but I was wondering if you have a
compressor setup (which should feed the system with constant air), is it
still useful to use an air tank (which stores the air and releases it
when the valves are switched) as well? Thank you!
