Try this for a castor. They are a little boxy, but it works.
Small turntable square with a 2*4 with 2 1*2 with hole on each end of the
2*4
Parts:
1 - small turntable
1 - 2*4 plate
2 - 1*2 solid
2 - 1*2 with hole
1 - 4 axle
2 - locks / micro pulleys
1 - small wheel
Mount 2*4 plate centred on the turntable with the solid 1*2 at each end of
the plate.
mount the 1*2 with holes on top of their solid mates
Put wheel between 1*2 stack, hold with axle put axle through hole followed
by a micro pulley on each end of axle

| Anyone got a good "caster wheel" design from MindStorms parts? I was working with some kids today, and didn't come up with anything workable... Using a skidpad for now.... (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
