It depends by what you mean by "programming"
- if you mean 'use a functional language on the PC to generate RCX code' then
it is possible in all such languages that can be run on Windows and call the
Spirit.Ocx. In other environments, specific interface libraries must be
written...
- if you mean 'use a functional language on the RCX itself', then I know of no
such implementation. I am thinking about porting Erlang, but I don't think I
will ever find the time...

| (...) A note: from all platforms where NQC can run, one can send commands to the RCX using it and not needing to have a serial port communication library... but of course, a wrapper lib around it would be useful to write... /Vlad (25 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Does knows if is possible to program the RCX in a functional language = like , for example, ML ? Functional programming is very powerfull and "inteligence oriented"; it = would be easy to use such sophisticated techinique like "backtraking" = and so (...)
