There are a number of these small video cameras and low power transmitters to
show up on TV.  Why not mount one of them, use one of the TV tuner card in the
computer.  The parts are on my Christmas list.  I don't have an ad here but
there a re a few places that sell them.  Look in Radio Electronics magazine, I
think that is what it is still called today.

I also have some Amatuer Radio TV stuff but the camera is pretty large and the
equipment is old so it is power hungry so I have not pulled it out yet.
